ARGH!

Not a real post, just a question for anyone that might know.

Sticktwist embroidery thread. Is there a trick to separating it into seperate strands without it turning into a tangled mess? Am I an idiot for not being able to do this? Or is this just something you have to put up with if you use it?

  1. I'm confused by this. Is this different from the regular DMC-type stranded cotton?

    1. The sort with the six strands twisted together. But you can supposedly pull off individual strands if you don't want to use all six.
I suspect I'm cutting my lengths too long.

  2. Rachael I haven't used this, but I have used other twisted threads and it always helps to have another set of hands. If you can get hubby to hold one end you can seperate the threads holding the bulk in one hand and the single thread in the other ... just make sure he doesn't let go until you tell him! :)
    Big hugs,
